Common name None. Usually takes the Latin name "Cambria". Flowers are very varied in look among Cambria. Substrate Likes chip bark- any decent orchid compost. Will live in sphagnum moss also. Temperature This orchid comes from Tropical America, south Florida and the West-Indies, so likes high humidity and a reasonably high temperature. Anything from 10-27°C is fine. Light Plenty of light, but no direct sunlight- similar to most orchids. Ideally, a bright windowsill. Watering Water by running orchid thoroughly under warm water, completely soaking it. Alternatively, using a plastic or glass kitchen jug, fill with warm water and sit the orchid in it for 10-15 minutes. Keep the substrate moist, but not too wet for longer than a few hours. Roots can rot if they are wet. Do not let it dry completely out. Spray fairly regularly, do not let dust build up on leaves if kept indoors. Flowering Should flower every 6-9 months, depending on its health. Feeding Feed once every 3-4 weeks in winter, up to once a fortnight in its growing season (Summer in Northern Hemisphere).
